However, there are still some persons who are mouth breathers and they can eat or drink oysters even when they are just released from their shell. If you are one of these people, you may not be required to chew your oysters properly. It depends on how well you can resist the taste of the oyster.

For those who say this, it is obvious that they have never eaten raw oysters. When you are eating the raw oysters, do not let the white part of the shell cover your teeth. Do not eat the shell till the pulp is left. The more white the shell is, the tastier it is for you. If you want to eat them without feeling bad about it, you can eat the whole shell but you should only eat a few or even none.
